The year was 2007 and I was headed off to the Bahamas to host a wedding - my own.
The Sandals brand always stood for love, but it was time for it to stand for destination tropical weddings too. To that end, we worked with a UK network TV station to film a series of 3 episodes, that was around "How to Plan your Dream Destination Wedding".

At the time, content marketing was largely unpopular and many thought we were mad. Perhaps we were a little?
But within 2 years after the show aired on TV and through digital channels, their honeymoon business absolutely took of. We supported it with a "How To" magazine, and never looked back. Sandals is still the number 1 destination weddings provider in the Caribbean, and a lead provider of destination weddings in the USA and UK.
